No, The Great Loudini is not scary. While the game does feature a live actor, they are there to assist and hopefully wow audiences, not to frighten anyone.

We release dates on a month-by-month basis, usually around the start of each month. If you're checking ahead and not seeing anything yet, it likely means the dates for that month haven't been released just yet. Sometimes it takes a little longer as we finalise availability and double-check calendars, so it's always worth checking back soon.

This version includes a live actor who is a professionally trained magician — adding a whole new layer of performance and interaction. In addition, the Live edition is significantly longer than our other games, providing more time for immersion and entertainment.

You can, but we don’t generally recommend it. Both versions feature the exact same puzzles. The key difference is that the Live edition includes a live actor, a full magic show, and a theatrical experience throughout — but puzzle-wise, it will be a repeat.

Yes — we tend to find that players can sometimes struggle with this game. That’s why we make it clear when booking that The Great Loudini is best suited to teams who have played at least three or more escape rooms previously. It’s designed to be a challenge.

We have heaters in the winter and fans in the summer to help keep the games comfortable. However, as the building was originally part of a factory, the temperature can vary slightly depending on the weather outside. There’s no full air conditioning, so on hot days the rooms may still feel a bit warm, another reason to dress sensibly for the season!

All of our games are played indoors, but please dress appropriately for the season and weather outside. While we do have heaters in winter and fans in summer, the temperature inside can still vary slightly as the building at Thornes Lane Wharf was originally part of a factory so it can be tricky to regulate at times.

🧊 In colder months: We recommend wearing warm, layered clothing. The rooms won't be freezing, but they may feel a little chilly at first.

☀️ In warmer weather: Feel free to wear cooler clothing like t-shirts and shorts, especially during the summer when the building can retain heat.

👟 Comfort is key: Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear. High heels are not recommended, trainers or flat shoes are ideal for moving around and enjoying the experience.

Yes. The Great Loudini is wheelchair accessible. There is no crawling involved, and all areas of the game can be accessed without the need to bend or climb.
